my name is steve wood. i live in washington, dc. i like philosophy, jazz, muffins made as cake, the new york times, the economist, and all sorts of nice things. i received a b.a. in philosophy in 2006 and am beginning this blog in anticipation of departing for senegal with the peace corps in september 2007.
